After
successful events in 2000 and 2002 the development
days in 2006 will be held at major professional grounds
around the UK – Old Trafford, The Oval and Trent
Brige. Following on from the regional development
days, players will have the opportunity to join one
of the ACE Academies.
Ace Cricket Academy events during 2006 include Ace
D Day, Ace Academy Programme and matches as explained
below. The aim is to improve the cricketing abilities
of everyone interested to join us, as we have a NO
BOUNDARIES concept.
Outdoor matches for every player who opts for.
There is a chance for grass roots talent to shine
to professional level as we have successfully done
in the past.
County Scouts are being invited who would look for
grass roots talent. We will also recommend and arrange
trials of suitable players with various counties.
TV
and Newspaper media have shown even more interest
to provide wider media coverage of our events than
in the past.
Ace
D Day (Ace Development Day)
This is a one day (few hour) indoor session called
Ace D Day at your respective region, which is aimed
at the following.
Identify your natural talents and areas of improvement
under the supervision of TEST PLAYERS.
We will use video to help us to improve your cricket
during Ace Academy Programme.
You may join for Ace D Day only, however if you did
not make an advance booking for Ace Academy programme,
you may have to go on the waiting list.
Note - When we receive your application
we will reserve a session for you on one of the dates
shown above. You can find this information on our
web site two weeks before the Ace D Day OR alternatively
you may phone us between 1PM and 7PM. You will also
find the ACE NUMBER we have given you for identification.

Academy Programme.
12 OR 15 weeks extensive outdoor training/coaching
on sundays 11am to 6pm and the option of outdoor matches
for every player. Refer to Ace Events Schedule and
the Application Form please.

Under 16. Will play outdoor matches at regional level.
Over 16 and exceptional talents (under 16) only
There are additional opportunities for over 16 years
age group and exceptional talents from under 16 to
play a series of outdoor matches within a region to
select a regional team that will play a Round Robin
Tournament against other regional teams. From these
matches a team will be selected to represent ACE XI
against PCA and Northamptonshire CCC.
